The manufactures have incorporated a low powered-Bluetooth 4.0 to the device to make it function smart. The Casio G-shock is designed to read text messages and pick calls when connected to an iPhone via Bluetooth. Sony has upgraded its earlier model with NFC feature to produce Smartwatch2. The device is completely water proof and is powered by Android mobile OS, however does not support iOS. The watch spots a 1.6 inch display and can be used to receive calls, text, Facebook and check e-mails. A onetime charge is good enough to keep the watch running for 3 days. However the watch disappoints with no Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
